Bush and Safari Weddings
Bush Weddings are held in magnificent settings in the African wilderness, such as in safari parks like Masai Mara or Amboseli. The ceremony may be held in a designated location within the park or even at the luxury game lodges which offer the couple and their guests a pampered stay.
Weddings in the wild draw on the excitement of getting married in Africa, against spectacular backdrops ranging from snow capped mountains to plains teeming with wildlife, as well as the knowledge of being in places uninhabited and untouched by modern human civilization.
Bush weddings may be customised but typically include the marriage ceremony at a safari lodge followed by cocktails and a special meal. The actual ceremony may have a choir, musician, and even tribal dancers, with venue decoration including tent and flowers being arranged by the lodge. Locations include Masai Mara, Amboseli , Lake Nakuru and the Mount Kenya region.

Tribal Maasai Wedding
If you want a wedding that is truly different, try a tribal Maasai Wedding! Specially organised to provide an experience of a tribal African wedding, in a truly authentic setting, with a traditional Masai ceremony to seal your marital vows, this is a wedding that is quite adventurous and different.
The Maasai are a warrior tribe of nomads and have a unique culture, a joy to experience and learn about. Your Maasai wedding takes place in a village, near the Masai Mara Game Reserve, and is conducted by a Maasai elder who will also witness the ceremony. The wedding will be blessed by the community and will be followed by your stay at a safari lodge in the Mara Reserves.
Beach Weddings in Africa
The view for miles around is of infinite blue ocean and white sandy beaches and the palms are swaying in the gentle Indian Ocean breeze. This is what the beaches are like along the East African coast.
A beach wedding at an exotic African beach location such as Lamu, Zanzibar or the Seychelles is a memorable once-in-a lifetime event that is actually easily planned and even tailored to suit you perfectly. While beach weddings are generally easier to arrange while also costing less, they also offer more options in terms of hotels and ceremony features – one can opt for small boutique – like hotels or bigget resort type properties with add on activities.
Indian Weddings
Exotic, elaborate and truly enchanting, Indian weddings are just something else. Full of spiritual significance, a marriage in Indian tradition symbolically binds not just the bride and groom, but also their immediate families into a life long bond, which will be governed by seven vows between the bride and groom, signified by going round the holy marital fire seven times.
We can arrange Indian weddings in several magnificent locations in Kenya, be it on the beach or in the heart of the Kenyan safari wilderness.
Hot Air Balloon Weddings
Possibly the most romantic way of getting married is in a balloon gracefully drifting over the wild plains of Africa. Balloon weddings are offered in the Masai Mara and include a one hour flight with each balloon carrying a maximum of 12 guests. For a fully private wedding ceremony, there is a pastor, a pilot and the bride and groom. The wedding is followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush at the landing site, with stunning views of the panoramic Mara plains all around the happy couple.
Typically a balloon flight takes off at break of dawn and the pilot flies guests around different parts of the reserve for an hour before landing after which you will be served an elaborate breakfast. Balloon flights are dependant on the weather and may be cancelled at the last minute for safety reasons. Therefore most couples prefer enjoying the balloon flight as a start to their honeymoon, the morning after their wedding.
