Base Camp – Masai Mara

An eco camp – perched atop a ridge, and nestled among the indigenous Euclea and Croton bushes.Stunning views of this undeveloped and pristine area of the Mara ecosystem is a feature of every room, whilstclever use of eco-friendly technology provides for your every comfort, including hot water and mains AC power.

Each hut/cottage has large double or twin beds under suspended mosquito nets, ensuite bathrooms and its own airy veranda complete with a sofa and sunbed to enable you to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

• Olesere Community Visit – the Olesere community part of Basecamp Big Five social community work. Visit the school, the health clinic and the wellness outreach program – Biotisho, meet the solar women and see the water project improving the daily lives of the Maasai.

Inside Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Masai Mara Access by RoadUpon Reaching Nkoilalle Market on the Narok
– Sekenani Mara Road, turn right, the camp is approximately10 Kms from the turn off.Only 4 x 4 Tourist vehicles are allowed

Access by Air
Flights depart twice a day from Wilson Airport,
in the morning and afternoon, to Siana airstrip
Mara, then drive approx. 1 hour 15 min to camp,
The airstrip is serviceable for private charters.
