Welcome to Camp Oloshaiki in the Maasai Mara
Camp Oloshaiki is a small and exclusive tented camp nestled in the lush riverine woodlands of the Talek River overlooking the Posee plains of the magnificent Maasai Mara, the richest game reserve in Kenya and one of the seven natural wonders of the world, known for its rich wildlife and massive herds of migrating game.
The camp has just eight private, spacious and charming tented pavilions designed for ultimate privacy and comfort. Each tent has its own private verandah. The tents are tastefully and luxuriously furnished with handcrafted four poster beds, one kingsize and one queensize, dressed with fine linen and mosquito nets. An extra single bed can be added without compromising on space.
One outstanding feature of the accommodation at Oloshaiki is the spacious and luxurious ensuite bathroom and dressing area with a large wardrobe. The bathroom is of stone construction and all floors are clad with local Talek stone. The showers are large with ample hot and cold water. We are proud to say that our bathrooms are the most tasteful in the Mara. All the furniture and fittings at Oloshaiki are hand crafted using local timbers and materials.
Guest areas include a comfortable and cosy sitting room with fireplace and a well stocked bar. The dining areas can be either inside or outside for al fresco dining. Enjoy sumptuous meals prepared by our chefs, a delicious blend of Continental and African cuisine using fresh local produce and delicacies. There is an extensive wine list for the perfect accompaniment to your meal. We also offer bush breakfasts and can organise picnic lunches should you wish to go for a full day game drive.
