Jannat House – Lamu Hotels
Jannat is the Arabic word for paradise. The original part of Jannat House may have been build at the end of the 17th century. The house have been extended the last years over two plots and are now the second biggest hotel in Lamu town with 27 beds. What guests enjoy at Jannat is the privacy because of the many terraces on different levels. The swimming pool is a valuable part to enjoy in the shade of a big mango tree.
We have rooms in different categories on different levels of the buildings to different prices, as well as family rooms. We are also well prepared for small scale conferences, not to forget that we have a fully equipped bar, fully licensed. Our kitchen make the most delicious food, also for vegetarians.
