Lolldaiga Farm House – Laikipia Hotels
Location
Situated in the Lolldaiga Hills, 30 kilometres to the northwest of Mount Kenya, lies one of the most stunning ranches in Kenya. Within the 49,000 acre ranch, vegetation ranges from dry savannah to open woodlands and high altitude forests. The working cattle ranch demonstrates optimal coexistence of people, livestock husbandry and wildlife.
Description
The Lolldaiga Farm House is a traditional cedar log building constructed in the 1940’s, perfect for family holidays, weddings and birthday parties. The house, nestled into a quiet valley, is sheltered from the prevailing north-easterly winds by cedar and olive trees. The garden, teaming with birds attracted by jasmine and citrus blossoms, has sweeping views of Mount Kenya.
