Matirabushcamp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara at the junction of the famous Mara and the Talekriver. A few steps outside the camp you are close to grazing zebras, antelopes, lions and leopards. During the hot time of the day most of them are lazy and relaxing but at sunset and sundown they start moving, playing, hunting, their most active time. Staying in the bushcamp you remain in the parc, stay with the animals and can enjoy your 24 hours safari in nature and wildlife.
Our team, all experienced local Maasai, takes care for your safety and comfort. The camp has 7 to 10 tents, hot water shower and flushing toilets on ecobasis. Accomodation is on a full board basis. An international cuisine with a local touch, freshly prepared and served in the dining tent, the leopard tree or under the stars.
Enjoy for special the Nyama Choma dinner, prepared in the traditional Maasai way.
