Shalom Cottages is located in Mombasa’s south coast in Diani. They are elegantly designed taking a Swahili style
décor to give you that Swahili feel with modern amenities. Shalom cottages comprises of three stand alone
cottages. Each cottage has two bedrooms, a lounge area, dining area and an open kitchen floor plan that is well
equipped.
The cottage concept is self catering whereby guests do their own catering in the well equipped kitchens or ask for
the services of a chef. All three cottages at Shalom have a kitchen that is equipped with a refrigerator, cooker with
oven, microwave among a host of other helpful catering equipment.
Shalom Cottages are tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. The cottages are well ventilated to allow
for natural air conditioning and free flow of the coastal breeze. In addition, each room has a ceiling fan. Our
housekeeping team is efficient in maintaining the cleanliness of the cottages. Laundry services are available on
request. The bedrooms sleep four with one double and one twin room.
The cottages have a verandah that affords you a spectacular view as you either enjoy sunrise or sunset. Shalom is
recommended for family stays and people in pursuit of private holidays at Diani Beach. There are numerous
activities around Diani Beach including a horde of water sports like snorkeling or a safari to either of the reserves
and national parks.
We are only a five minute walk to the world famous Diani beach and virtually next to Baharini Plaza which
encompasses a supermarket, restaurants, bank, pharmacy and a host of other businesses. We are nearby world
famous Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant.
