Location: Meru Central district, Eastern Province, approximately 240 km north of Nairobi and 25km from Nanyuki.
Accommodation: Pleasantly situated in open grassland immediately adjacent to Sirimon Gate, the accommodation comprises two semi-detached bandas housed in one attractive stone-built cottage. Each banda has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with two single beds.
Bathroom: Each banda has a shower (hot water) and WC.
Sitting room: Each banda has a furnished sitting room with a log fire and doors leading to a small veranda.
Dining area: Each banda has an open-plan dining area leading off the sitting room.
Kitchen: Each banda has a galley kitchen with a gas stove, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
Provided: Caretaker, kerosene lamps, blankets, pillows, bed linen, towels, soap and toilet tissue.
Roads: 4WD vehicles are recommended all year round and are essential in rainy seasons.
How to get there: by road; from the town of Nanyuki travel 16 km north on the A2, Sirimon gate is signposted to your right. After 9 km you will see the bandas on your right before the Park gates.
By air: via Nanyuki airstrip or the Sirimon KWS airstrip next to the bandas.
