Thiiri Center – Meru Hotels

The Thiiri Center is dedicated to creating a space for the community to rediscover and learn more about their culture and the indigenous knowledge and skills that can bridge the past, present and future and provide new opportunities to empower individual, group and community development through music, arts, enterprise and recreation. The Center encourages participation in specialized skill classes, dialogue and discussion, personal reflection and collective celebration as local people learn together, appreciate difference and nurture a common good that uplifts each person in the community with a spirit of belonging, fellowship, love and faith.

Thiiri is a unique establishment located in the Mount Kenya hillsides of Meru, in a rural, farming community. The grounds cover six acres with spacious lawns and gardens.

Offerings:
The Thiiri Center offers several classes and workshops in the arts, technology, and early childhood development. The Center also has 14 self-contained rooms,a swimming pool and space to host meals, conferences, seminars, weddings, group meetings and community events.

The Thiiri Center is equipped available for conferences and seminars, group meetings and community events. The facilities include a hall that seats 250 people, a restaurant, classrooms and meeting rooms. The Center also has 14 self-contained rooms and spacious lawns and gardens for recreation and formal ceremonies not to mention a swimming pool and a music recording studio Under construction is a children’s playground, gym, music classes and more self-contained rooms.
